My journey began in my home country Poland, where I earned a law degree with one big dream in my heart: to build a new life in the United States.
Like so many immigrants, I arrived full of hope – only to be met by the overwhelming complexity of the U.S. immigration system. I had to learn everything from scratch: the endless forms, confusing instructions, the long waits, and the constant uncertainty. I didn’t just study immigration law – I lived it. And it’s that lived experience that fuels everything I do as an immigration attorney today.
Along the way, I saw heartbreaking stories unfold. Families separated for years. Talented entrepreneurs stuck in limbo. Brilliant, hardworking people held back by red tape.
That’s when I knew: this was my purpose. Helping others navigate this difficult, emotional process became more than just a career – it became my calling.
Today, I use my personal experience, legal training, and deep knowledge of the system to guide people like you through some of the most important moments of your lives – whether it’s bringing your family together, launching a business, or finally becoming a U.S. citizen.

Community Involvement
In addition to her work at AAIL, Aga places great emphasis on helping the immigrant community. She volunteers at the City of Portland Immigration Legal Aid Clinic and is a frequent presenter on immigration-related topics at various community sponsored events and workshops.
Aga has also taught classes at Maine Law School that equip law students with practical knowledge of family-based immigration and the U.S. citizenship process.
Educational Credentials
Aga earned her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. She holds a Master of Arts in Law, summa cum laude, from her home country, Poland, and was awarded an Associate of Science in Legal Studies, summa cum laude, from Quincy College, Massachusetts.
